Vintage Christian Dior Ad Print

This print of this original Christian Dior ad from the 1940's is an image that was designed in 1947 and the signature of the artist is visible on the image design. This ad was originally designed for storefront displays. The picture is an image of a woman dressed in a purple evening gown smoking a cigarette. She is against a night backdrop with two gentlemen on either side dressed in white dinner jackets. These rare prints are made from high quality paper stock and are a limited print release. Some of these ads have never been seen because of their rarity, as some of these companies did very little advertising. The image is printed on 160G Ivory card stock that looks about like an eggshell white. It is 'adagio' card stock. These copies of original 30's and 40's ads are beautiful when framed together and please look at the other fabulous print ads. Some of the ad prints are very difficult to come by and are of brands such as Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, etc. The image is 11.75 inches wide by 16.5 inches tall.
