Vintage Chinoiserie Japanese Obon Tray Set Of 2 Black Lacquered Over Wood

Welcome to my closet 😊 Thank you for visiting! In good vintage condition. There are some scratches especially on the back. Please examine photos closely Hand carved and painted. They were used to serve tea and sweets. They are square with rounded corners and are small for a tray measuring 8x8 in. They could be used as wall plaques and one has a nail in the back.
