Vintage Chinese Enamel Ring

Vintage, cloisonné on repousse sterling silver ring featuring a magnificent Chinese Phoenix bird. Size 6&3/4 but adjustable, tapered, wrapped band. Face is 3/4". Tested as 950 silver content. Some age showing with a little wear to the enamel in spots and naturally occurring patina. I've had it since the 70's but I suspect it is much older. A symbol of virtue and grace, this mythological bird also symbolizes the union of yin and yang and is often used in traditional Chinese wedding decorations.
