Vintage Cheongsam Silk Fitted Midi Dress. Also known as a qipao which is a body hugging dress. Popular during the 1920s and 1930s. Beautiful silk fabric NO TAGS .Fully lined two side slits. Side zipper. Snap closure bust area. Measurements laying flat 17 inches bust pit to pit 13 1/2 inch waist 17 1/2 Hips. 45 1/2 inch length from top shoulder to bottom hem. In like new condition. The cheongsam, also known as the qipao, is a Chinese dress worn by women which takes inspiration from the ethnic clothing of the Manchu people. It is most often seen as a longer, figure-fitting, one piece garment with a standing collar, an asymmetric left-over-right opening and two side slits. It is truly a unique and beautiful addition to anyones closet. It can also be shortened but I think keeping as is reflects the beauty of the garment

elizabeth1966 @alisonbrown754 hi I posted pics of how it flaps down. I thought it was on both sides but it’s just on one side then it zips down from under arm to hip. Hope that helps 🙋🏽‍♀️
