Vintage Charm Necklace - Glass & Silver Animal Charms on Fishing Terminal Tackle
This necklace just makes me smile. The necklace chain is made from fishing tackle. It has over 40 charms on it. About half the charms are glass or crystal in colors of blues and purples. The rest are silver metal, some I believe are sterling. There’s an antique lock, a lasso, flowers, a skeleton key, a man in a sombrero, a silver pitcher, 2 rhinoceros, moon and stars, a horse shoe, a heart, a horse, a bird, a swallow, and a bell.
The necklace is long enough to slip over your head. This necklace is definitely a work of art and a conversation piece.

@saucyandsassy I bought it several years ago in a Missouri antique store along with some other pieces of handmade, folk jewelry.

@msleighatelier It appears to be of Turkish origin. Because the chain is fishing tackle, are there sharp parts that could snag a knitted top? Thanks.

@saucyandsassy I don’t think so. If there are any you didn’t like you can just remove them. You can also add your own. Each little link opens up.
