Vintage Carved Bone Stag Brooches

These are two wonderfully delicate and esquitately carved bone pins. The carving is delicate and the detail is amazing on both of these two brooches. Scrimshaw carvings have been around for a long time and these two are part of an artistic history. The brooches curve gently and have the metal for the pin carefully embeded in the back of the pins. The light colored pin measure approximately 33 mm by 29.8 mm, while the one with tint to it measures 29.4 mm by 26.9 mm. A perfect addition to anyones collection.
