Vintage Carey Adina Leather Leaf Handbag

This is such a unique bag! Carey Adina is a designer whose bags are featured in the Met Museum! There are no markings I can find as to the type of leather, but it's very soft like calfskin. It's somewhere between black and brown to my eye. I've never seen or found a purse like it, so I don't know if it's one-of-a-kind or mass produced, but it's very special! There is a small mark near the leaf (see photos), but otherwise, the bag is in very good vintage condition.
