Vintage CAP'N PATCH Porcelain Toby Mug Style Character Covered Sugar Bowl

Vintage CAP'N Patch Toby Mug Style Covered Sugar Bowl. In the style of Royal Doulton Character Mug, this covered sugar bowl is unmarked and probably made in Japan in the 1960's. Hand Painted design with rich tones of browns, creams and greens; very detailed face with a patch over the right eye, CAPT and PATCH is embossed in the mold on the back and the lid has a small handle. This sugar bowl measures 3 3/4" high x 2 1/2" long x 3" wide and is in good pre-owned condition free of any chips or cracks. There is some crazing on the outside edges of the lid but nothing to take away from the condition of this piece. Great novelty piece that would be an nice addition to Toby style collectors and a fun conversation piece.
