Vintage Bulova 23 Jewels Square Face gold watch

Vintage Bulova 23 Jewels square face watch with mesh band in original case. Electronically timed. Not sure if it is gold rolled, gold plated or gold. A local jeweler thought gold plated but wasn't sure. The only marking on the watch is small print hong kong, and yes, vintage Bulova watches were made in Hong Kong too. It is beautiful. Ask any questions as all sales are final. All sales come from a smoke free cat free home. I am thinking this is 1940s-60s era. Not sure if mans or woman's?
