Early to mid-20th century Cast Bronze or Copper Bucking Bronco Ashtray / Coin Dish, likely 1930s - early 1950s. Mini plaque under horse reads “Warwick Dude Ranch NY”.
A cowboy astride a saddled horse is affixed to a rounded base tray with Art Deco ridged styling. Love the details and color variations … especially the amazing patina that only comes with age! Very much in the style of Dodge, Herzel and others who cast in bronze, brass and copper in that era. There may be a makers mark on the underside (along with Patent Pending), but I cannot decipher it.
A fabulous piece of Tobacciana for display, storage (keys, coins, jewelry) or to add to your collection.
SIZE: Measures 6 1/8” W x 6 3/4” D x 5 1/8” H.
CONDITION: Signs of age and/or use are shown in photos, and include those consistent with age such as general surface wear and oxidation. The brown felt underside shows wear.
