Vintage Brass Etched Elephant Necklace

This is a vintage Brass (?) featuring a chain with etched elephants. This looks like it is made from brass, and that it might have been made in India, but that is just my opinion. The elephants are 2-sided with identical itching on both sides. They are slightly puffed in the middle, not perfectly flat. There is a large focal elephant at the longest point in the chain, surrounded by 6 smaller elephants. This is a statement piece that measures 21 inches from the top the bottom of the center focal elephant. There is no clasp or opening. You could give it a nice polish, or you could leave it as is, with the patina of age adding character.
