Vintage Brass Crab Ashtray or trinket box, 1970s with Hinged Lid, 6"x6"

This Vintage Brass Crab Ashtray (which could be used as a trinket box) is estimated to be from the 1970s. The hinged lid opens up to a 1.5" compartment inside. Unlike the newer ones made more recently, this crab is very detailed, weighs over a pound and has vintage screws in the bottom. It measures about 6"x6". The crab is in great condition. There are signs of verdigris as shown in the photos around the eyes and a bit on a leg underneath. Neat older brass piece that will display nicely.
