What exquisite detail - even the backing is so finely crafted Signed with Patent number also: 957965 Designer Information: Henry Bogoff born in Poland in 1908 Like many Eastern European Jews, he emigrated to the NYC US to escape persecution & married a recent Russian emigrant, Yvette Glazerman. Jewels by Bogoff was founded in 1940 and became one of the country's leading designers and manufacturers of costume jewelry. Henry was responsible for the designs and styling. Each rhinestone was placed by hand. Jewels by Bogoff had a reputation for very high quality, and every piece was guaranteed for life. Jewels by Bogoff continued until his untimely death in 1958 and ultimately closed in the early 60's.
