Vintage Bob Mackie Black Formal Gown Size XS/S Sequin Beaded Bodice Front Split

Brand: Bob Mackie Boutique Color(s): Black with ivory, gray and black beads/sequins Tag Size: missing, estimate of modern XS to S Content/Care: Black rayon crepe outer with a black silk lining. From the master of sequins comes this stunner of a vintage 80's formal gown. Heavily beaded and sequined bodice in a floral motif that is further accented with faux pearls, back and sides are a beaded geometric pattern. Long draped skirt with a relaxed fit in the hips and then tapers down to the floor with a ultra dramatic center split that stops mid thigh. Center back zipper closure with waist stay. Virtually no bead or sequin loss, no rips, tears or stains. Tag size is missing. I believe the dress was supposed to have a halter strap based on the bar hooks on the inside of the bodice, dress should stay up without them. Actual measurements taken flat then doubled: Bust - 32" (16" flat across top) Waist - 26" Hip - 40" Length - 48" (from center back to hem) Mannequin measurements for reference: 35/28/34"
