Vintage Blue & Gold Celestial Sun & Stars Pattern Espresso Cups & Saucers - Set of 4 / 8 Pieces *I do have the matching set of larger 150mL coffee cups (for bol/ cortado / flat white / double espresso) in another listing in my closet.* All but one saucer is in excellent condition (no chips, cracks or fading). One saucer has a chip on the bottom of the saucer (see last photo) - you can’t see it from above and it doesn’t affect functionality. Set of 4 espresso / demitasse coffee cups & 4 saucers The saucers are a pure navy / cobalt / midnight blue color. The cups have a white interior and the outside is a navy blue color with a shiny gold design. The design shows a sun with a face / sun rays and a bunch of small stars surrounding the sun. The sun may also have the shape of a crescent moon inside. The saucers are about 4.5”D x 0.75”H. The espresso cups / demitasse cups are about 2.75”W (with handle) x 2”D (without handle) x 2”H. Each espresso cup / demitasse cup holds about 90 mL. I believe these are originally from Japan / made in Japan. They were my grandmothers and I got them when she had to downsize (I love the design but I don’t drink coffee). These would look great / complimentary to the Libbey Cobalt blue Sun, Moon & Stars glass mugs.
