Vintage Blue Delft Blauw handpainted The Hunter Holland

- Delft Tile - Titled "De Jaager" (The Hunter) - Dimensions: 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" - From an engraving by Jan (Johannes) Luyken, Dutch poet, illustrator and engraver (1649-1712) - Depicts the hunter and his hunting dogs, set in a circle and flanked on all four corners by floral accents - Has the title at the top in a banner and the artist's name and dates of birth and death to the bottom right and left - Part of a collection of souvenir tiles that depict occupations. There are more than a dozen so look for more! MARKS: on the back in blue or impressed as dashed lines: - a crown logo - Delft Blauw - Hand Painted - Made in Holland - initials - h0 - 6H - 90 CONDITION: Very good. No cracks, chips or stains.
