Vintage Blue Bird Toffee Tin w/ Tower Bridge London by Harry Vincent Ltd

- Vintage Candy Tin - Features Tower Bridge London with at least 4 Steamships and tugboats - Background is a metallic gold and the graphics are very colorful, mostly blues, yellows and reds - The sides are solid red with lettering (see below under "MARKS") - Width: 5 3/4" - Depth: 3 1/2": - Height: 1 1/2" - Lid is hinged MARKS: - "Blue Bird Toffee" in block lettering on the side - "Harry Vincent Ltd. Hunnington near Birmingham England” - "Take the Home Sweet Home" in block lettering on the front and back sides - "Tower Bridge London" in bottom right corner of the lid CONDITION: Vintage condition; very good for its age (on-line research suggests it to be from the 40s, so in the 80 year old range. The lid has a few little spots of wear (see pictures), but others of these I've seen are scratched and rusted so this is in surprisingly good condition. There is a small dent that is mostly noticeable from the inside. I think this could be straightened by someone who's handy (I'm not or I'd do it). There is the normal darkening on th inside and outside bottom from oxidation but no overall rust that you find in most vintage tins. Please view all pictures and if you need more just ask. Questions?
