Vintage Block Ice Tongs Cast Iron, 1940s Rustic Farm & Industrial Tools

We called him, "the Iceman," and while he used his tongs to deliver a big block of ice to the neighbor, all the kids on our street would charge his parked flatbed truck to scavenge ice chips on which to suck during the hot summer days. This set of tongs is cast iron made "especially for Five Points Ice & Fuel Co," which is stated on the hard cork handle. No maker's mark that I can identify. 14 inches long.
