Vintage Black Relief Grecian Urn Dancing Girls Oval Brass Ornate Pin Pendant

- Oval pendant with relief image of a single, Greek or Roman urn, with dancing girls and floral bezel surround - Presumably made of a black hard resin or a type of plastic, and has a light green paint coating over the relief that makes the imagery more pronounced - Ornate, brass bezel, 'C' pinback, and pendant loop, so it can be worn as a brooch, or pendant if you just add a chain - Vintage based on the type of clasp it has. The 'C' clasp was introduced during the Victorian era, and this clasp may be from between the late 1800s to about 1910. This particular brooch is hard to date as it could have been produced between 1900 to 1950 based on research conducted on this piece - Due to age, the pinback is very loose, so I would definitely be careful when wearing it as a brooch. It will be sturdier as a pendant. The pinback is also on a slant, which makes the rod slip a little bit out of its latch. The back of the pin also has wear like buffering and a small nick. The pendant loop is bent a little bit. Even so, this has survived many years, and I believe it will last many more decades Measurements: - Length: 1 3/4" - Width: 1 3/16"
