Vintage Black Hat Wide Brim 1950 Era New York Creation

Sophisticated black felt, wide brim hat. A New York Creation --consortium of early mid century designers and manufacturers--it states its case with a 5" front brim. A 1 1/2" black gros grain band circles the crown. At the sides it is anchored with a 1 3/4" button and 6" long tails which trail to the edge of the brim. At the back, the brim is 2 1/2". Note the two crossed hat pins at the back (careful!)
