The above is a semi-translucent black Bakelite bracelet/bangle. When you hold it up to light there is visible translucency between each faceted plane. Black is a rare color for vintage Bakelite pieces. It measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch in width. Although a lot of real black Bakelite do not test positive this piece has been positively tested with simichrome ( reaction: yellow), 409 ( reaction: yellow), and hot water (reaction: smells of formaldehyde). It is in good used vintage condition save for a single visible scratch. See 4th photo for visual.
