Vintage Black Bakelite Bangle with White Stripe

This is a beautiful vintage black bangle with a white stripe. The bangle appears to be Bakelite, but the white stripe could be a different type of plastic. There are two small lines where the white was cut and put into place. There is a small flaw, possible damage from a hot needle, on the inside. Overall, the piece is in very great shape. Likely made around the 1930s-50s. Approximate Width: 0.75 in. Approximate Inner Diameter: 2.65 in. Approximate Size: 8 Unfortunately, Simichrome doesn't seem to work well when testing black Bakelite. However, when rubbed in the palm of my hand, the bangle heated up and gave off a slight stench. This seems to indicate that it is Bakelite, but I am not 100% certain.
