Vintage Bergstrom Air Force Base AFB Embroidered Jacket Austin Texas XL

If you like the history of Austin or just like vintage military clothing, this find is for you! This is a vintage, made in the USA, jacket from Bergstrom Air Force Base, (AFB) in Austin, Texas. The current airport in Austin is where the Air Force base used to be. This is a silky jacket that is lined. It has elastic at the wrists, a drawstring at the waist, buttons up the front, has 2 pockets and is embroidered. It says Ron M on front. On the back there is an embroidered eagle with the American Flag and the words Bergstrom AFB Austin, Texas on the back. The jacket is a blue color. This is a vintage jacket and so there are some flaws. On the interior of the jacket, there appears to be 2 burn marks from a cigarette as seen in photos. (This does not smell like cigarettes.) Other than that, there is just general fading on the embroidery from age and use. This is a great jacket for any vintage lover, especially if you’re from Austin, Texas. Exterior is 100% nylon, and interior is 100% polyester. Made in USA.
