This is a vintage Bentley Alarm Clock- in the shape of a brass turtle. The shell typically lifts up to expose the clock; but the hinge has been taken apart. The bar that attaches it is missing, but presumably one could fine the right size to rehinge it. The turtle is approximately 4 - 3/4 inches X 3 - 1/2 inches. The face of the clock has black Roman numerals and hands. "Bentley" is marked on the face as well as "Alarm". The hands of the clock are in excellent shape and the clock still works! On the back of the clock it is marked "West Germany". It is cast in heavy brass, with some tarnishing that could be cleaned to shine again.
