Vintage Belsnickel Santa Claus Standing Figure on Base St. Nicholas MadeJapan #1

1 of 2 Santas offered, very slight differences Older vintage cone shaped Santa Claus stands holding a pipe cleaner "tree" on a circular stand of glittered snow. This suspected 1940s holiday Santa has a hand painted celluloid or paper mache face and cotton beard w felt jacket and flocked paper pants. He has chenille boots, hands, trim on his coat and hat. Arms appear wired and threaded under the beard. The frontal black belt in this Santa is hidden under his arms and beard. Beard is shorter than #2. He stands 5” tall and in nice vintage condition. Small sticker on the bottom partially readable reads Japan. Fabulous addition for collectors for display or might make a wonderful domed centerpiece. Condition as shown. There is some mild discolorations chipping and wear, showing its age and history. As with any vintage item there will be evidence of use, discoloration and wear, look closely at pictures for the details. Selling in as is condition. No attempt to clean.
