Vintage Beaded Mini-Dress Sterling By Stone Ferris

WOWSA! Beautiful mini-dress for Prom! This beaded dress is heavy with beads, and 100% silk The color is impossible to capture, it is a beautiful orange, not as red as the pics make it. I tried to adjust the first picture, but it's not perfect. The brand is Sterling by Stone Ferris, and I found an article about him that said that he started making prom dresses in the mid 80s. I think this dress is probably late 80s to early 90s. It has orange beads over most of the body, in a repeating rectangular pattern. There are silver beads lining the sweetheart neckline and the straps, and again at the chevron cut hem. There is silver beaded fringe from the hem. The fabrics are Rayon and Silk from India. It is labeled size 10, but it's more like a size 6 to 8 these days. Armpit to armpit 17" Waist side to side approximately 14" Hips side to side 18" Excellent condition!!
