Vintage Bauscher Weiden Teapot with Golden Angel Bavaria Germany

- Small Teapot - by Bauscher Weiden - Features an angel with a star tipped wand in flight across the front in gold - Gold trim at the rim, and lid - Made in Bavaria - Capacity: about 12 oz. to the brim so it's really for one cup of tea - There is a small slit or channel in the underside of the spout which I think serves the purpose of catching any drip and making sure it goes back into the pot and not on your tablecloth! MARKS: in green on the bottom: - BW inside an oval surrounded by the words - Bauscher Weiden in an oval band - Bavaria - Germany CONDITION: Good vintage condition with the caveat that there is an age crack on the spout (see last 2 pictures). Not very noticeable. I only saw it when I was cleaning it. I thought it was perfect. But the loveliness of the angel on the front in gold more than makes up for it. There is some tea staining in the bottom which will probably come out when I work on it a bit more, but my fingers aren't long enough to reach down through the small opening so I'll address that before it goes to its new home.
