Vintage Bailey Western Hat with leather band and turquoise accents. -Size 7 1/8 Bailey Hat Company was founded in 1922 after recognizing the need for a quality hat company to serve the great American West. George S. Bailey fitted miners and film stars, ranchers, businessmen, and oil tycoons. The hat is a soft sueded velvet wrapped at the crown by a supple leather band fashioned with turquoise accents. It is a perfect fedora gambler size and shape. The inner leather hat band is as pliable as the day it was made. There is some rubbing wear on the topside of the hat and some signs of normal wear ( see photos) but still in great shape.
