Vintage 1970 plate from Bing & Grondahl (B&G) Copenhagen Porcelain depicting three pheasant birds on a snowy Christmas night.
The word "Jule After 1970" is written on the plate.
The plate's painter's stamp, KA, B&G initials and its Three Towers logo are marked at the back of the plate.
Plate Number 8000/9070 and the word "Pheasants in the snow at Christmas" are also stamped at the back of the plate.
Made in Denmark.
Cobalt blue color.
Bing & Grondahl roots goes back to 1853, when brothers Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl , Meyer and Jacob Bing founded it.
Grøndahl had a great deal of experience with the production process involved from his years with the Royal Copenhagen.
In a few years the company became a contender in the ceramics market.
In 1886 B&G introduced underglaze blue decorations.
Three towers, a stylized castle mark and B&G initials have been the company logo since 1898.
In 1987 B&G merged with its biggest local competitor, Royal Copenhagen.
The plate has two holds in the back to allow for hanging.
