Vintage BAUER GREEN PLAINWARE CALIFORNIA POTTERY 3-Part Divided Grill Plate. This jade green grill plate has a diameter of about 11”. This would be a great addition to a grill plate collection of early Bauer pottery. This vintage Bauer plainware divided plate is unmarked. It was made in Bauer, Los Angeles, CA 1909-1962. Bauer’s Plain Ware line was introduced in 1930. It may be vintage but it is a solid beautiful jade-colored plate. I thought it was jadeite at first look. The Bauer jade-colored plate is glossy overall, but there are some wear scratches on the top of the dividers. One divider has a very little white mark. On back there are 2 glaze divot marks from the maker. Measures: 11” x 1” Weight: 2.11 lbs.
