Vintage BAKELITE 1950s teal + white bead necklace

This is a true vintage beaded necklace made of Bakelite or Catalin. Tested via the hot water method, it emits a the distinctive Bakelite scent. The smooth round white and teal(ish) beads are beautiful and are separated by small metal disc spacer beads. GUC. The necklace has a 8.5” drop (when holding the clasp and letting it dangle). The largest bead is about 4/8ths” across.
