Vintage Aviator Sunglasses Retro Oversized Shades 1970s 80s Plastic Diplomat

Vintage oversized aviator sunglasses in two-tone plastic / acetate / lucite, circa 1970s. COLOR: Translucent tones of brown blend from rosy-orange to yellow-tan. BRAND / MODEL: Diplomat / M260 SIZE: 54 (Lens) 20 (Bridge) Frames (also marked Col. 3.) measure just over 5 1/2” W by just under 2 1/4” H. Suitable for women or men. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age or use (none visible to me). No defects or damage. Ready to be fitted with either prescription lenses or tinted ones to wear as sunglasses. (Currently frames have thick prescription lenses.) They are pictured on a mannequin head with 21” circumference, both with and without the lenses (a bit askew in some shots, as the model lacks ears).
