This is a unique pair of never-worn Australian boots from 1945 with full upper and lower stitched leather construction, hobnails, metal heels/toes, and new leather laces. The leather is in superb condition with some minor discolorations and marks from years of storage. Check out our shop for other sizes and styles.
These solid boots look great on both men and women. As you can see, the soles are thick and are somewhat rigid but do break in nicely over time.
Originally made in Australia in 1945, they were destined for the Commonwealth forces and then purchased as unused surplus by Harry Trim in Adelaide, Australia. For the next 50+ years, the boots sat in wax-paper-sealed unopened crates (see photo) in a warehouse until they were purchased and brought to the United States and are now available to you.
