Hi! This is so cool for a millennial! Does the flip up lid take up much room on the inside? I’m trying to see how many recipes I could fit inside. Thank you!

@saavedia Hi! It’s a very cool piece, and finding it all intact was a plus! It doesn’t take up much space and it can be stored flipped up with the holder on the top. But you can fit a decent amount on either side of that piece on the inside! Hope that helps!

@saavedia What a great idea! I went to wedding and the bride and groom had asked everyone to make a recipe card with their favorite family dish and drop it in a box upon entry to the wedding!

@jrust8, oh that’s awesome!! For my wedding shower many years ago, my mother-in-law had provided index cards in the invitations. She asked for the same thing with “advice to the bride:” written on the back of each card. My grandmother came, she was still living at the time - 22 years ago - and wrote a recipe from my great-great-great-grandmother! It is still one of my most cherished possessions!
