Vintage Asian Lacquer & Inlaid Mother of Pearl Octagonal Compartmentalized Box lazy susan Beautiful vintage red-brown lacquer octagonal box with 5 removable interior storage trays and a wonderful, colorful mother of pearl floral inlay on the lid. Inlay is intricate, colorful, and fully intact. Box has a few slight abrasions and dings and scratches here and there as to be expected with such an old piece. Originally intended for food, I believe, but it can also be used for jewelry and trinkets. Stunning on display on a dresser! Possibly Korean or Japanese
