Vintage Asian Hand-Carved Jade Soapstone Warriors Scholars Immortals Bookends

Auspicious statuette bookends of Asian (Chinese or Korean) immortals, warriors or scholars. Made of jade colored hand-carved soapstone, sometime in the mid-20th century. These stoic, stone faced, guys will hold your books up with honor! Photos detail some minor battle scars after living through the years when my kids and their friends were rambunctious teenagers and knocked them down, and one fell to a hard tile floor. Nothing was broken though! The stone is strong and resilient, and I imagine the few dings and scratches could be ground lightly and buffed, with the right Dremel attachment. Together, they weigh about 5 lbs and will require upgrading the standard Poshmark label to accommodate for going over 5lbs once wrapped, padded and boxed. No charge to the buyer for the label upgrade, but probably won’t be offering a discounted rate from the current 5lb and under rate. Each piece is approximately 9.75” tall, depth of 2” and 3.5” across the widest area.
