Vintage Asian Hand Painted Satsuma Sleeping Cat Figurine/Statue This is a lovely Vintage Asian Hand Painted Satsuma Sleeping Cat Figurine/Statue. The piece has very intricate, multicolored hand painted fabrics and floral detailing over its whole surface and underneath its chin as well. The style of this piece originated in Japan called JAPANESE KUTANI but was also manufactured in China during the 1960's as well. The piece measures approximately 9.25" long by 4.25" high by 5" wide and is in great vintage condition with no visible anomalies and the makers marks on the underside. This is such a peaceful and serene piece that would add these elements to any environment. Cat lovers favorite.
