vixenkittyvinta @sweetgwendoline I would say late 60s /early 70s. No major defects. As I described there are some areas where the velvet has flattened and a little of the sole material is lifting in the corner. Nothing a little shoe glue wont fix

staarrfire @vixenkittyvinta Thanks. Is the sole sound or coming loose/wobbling? Any rips in the velvet? The main concern I have is condition - and that area where it's not attached at the heel..unfortunately just glue doesn't hold that - it would have to be professionally fixed by a cobbler and that costs money :(

vixenkittyvinta @sweetgwendoline the heels are sturdy. The velvet is in good condition. There are no rips or tears at all. As for the lifting of the material on the bottom, it looks like it was glued together when it was made. I cant see any areas where you would need to add a nail or anything of that sort to hold the material down.

vixenkittyvinta @sweetgwendoline If you're interested, i can add a little shoe glue to reattach the sole material on the heel. Theres nothing structurally wrong w the shoe to where you would need to take them to a cobbler

staarrfire @vixenkittyvinta No, please don't add the glue. LOL I tried doing that with a pair I had with shoe goo and it was a nightmare. And it didn't hold. I would definitely have a professional handle it. I might put an offer in, knowing I would need to spend money to repair them.

vixenkittyvinta @sweetgwendoline I guessed a size 6. There is no indication of a size but the inside is stamped 60M 6634 5S. I tried looking up the usual markings for Antonio Marsini shoes but found very little with sizing

staarrfire @vixenkittyvinta Hi, where it says 5 S is more than likely the size. Size 5 and S indicates "Slim" for narrow width. I've had Vintage shoes with this type of size marking. Also, in your fourth photo, there is something on the heel, like a tear or something? I can't quite make it out - what is that? If you have a couple more photos to post, I'd appreciate it. Maybe one of the back of the heel and along the curve of the shoe near the insole.

vixenkittyvinta @sweetgwendoline the fabric doesnt look torn it just looks like the velvet is shorter in that area. Probably due to natural wear of the shoe. I have never worn these but the lady I got them from stated that her mother used them during special occasions. They are no prestine but they are in good shape for their age despite slight wear.
