A beautiful vintage decopauged box bag handcrafted in the decades ago and featuring the whimsical artwork of Anton Pieck. Description below. It's in amazing condition and still very functional. Please see the measurements in the photos. Anton Pieck was a Dutch artist and designer known for his illustrations of magical scenes and historic settings. His unique style captured almost a photographic view through the application of delicate lines and detailed colors and tonings. Over time, his work became so popular they were reproduced on stationery. In the 1950s, Anton also helped establish the aesthetics underpinning Efteling, a fantasy theme park in Kaatsheuval. Over time, his commercial artwork extended into publishing, with Pieck contributing his drawings for several illustrated children’s books. He died November 24, 1987 in Overveen, Netherlands at the age of 92. Today, his workstation, personal possessions, and artworks can be seen at the Anton Pieck Museum in Hattem, Netherlands.
