Vintage Annalee Doll on Skis

The Annalee doll was designed by Annalee (Davis) Thorndike in the 1930s when she was a teenager and interested in puppetry. The dolls were created in many themes, and this one, (c) 1957, 1984, is the skier. These handmade moldable and foldable felt dolls drew a following and are still collectable today. This skier is wearing a white and green hat with a green pom, dark blue jacket with hood, light blue mittens and pants, red boots, red skis, and pushing through with aluminum poles. 7" tall x 7" long. Note a small bit of glue on one ski. I do not know if this was on the original or from a repair. Vintage. Collectable.
