Vintage Ann Tjian for Kenar Dress

Wow. This is a relic. I think this has been in my ©Vintage Vault™ since my 80s career days when all I really wanted to do was stand behind the cosmetics counter at Macy's and be the one and only punk rock makeup artist. I'm not ashamed to admit that I think the 80s were a good time to be around, and maybe that's why I kept this hidden away so long. I'm glad I did! There was one down side to the 80s. Shoulder pads. I hated them. This dress may have had them. If it did, I cut them out. (I regret nothing). This is the perfect little black dress to wear when you want to feel super pretty while you kick butt in the boardroom. It's classic, and delivers a bold message in a perfectly understated way. The only flaw I can find is there are two missing buttons on the back. (A thankfully simply fix)! This dress has a 9-button front closure.
