Lightweight wool. Beautiful vintage vest with cream detailed embroidery. Pretty loop buttons (I found I needed a safety pin since they're pretty but don't stay closed too well- maybe because it's a P and I'm not). There's a placket for the upper part so if you're ok with flashing your navel you can get by with nothing under it
