Vintage Alaskan Gold Nugget Circle Necklace Vintage

Vintage 1960s Alaskan gold nugget pendant suspended from a 10k gold chain. Only a very tiny amount of gold production is in nugget form, and placer mining can only take place a few months of the year due to weather conditions. Nuggets are approx 22k, and the nuggets are on a 10k backing. The pendant is 5/8" across and 3/4" long, measurement excludes the jump ring for the chain. The 10k chain is marked and measures 16" long.
