Vintage Aircrew Coveralls Flyers Flight Suit Vanderbilt CWU 27P Sz 42L These are the flight suits worn by United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps pilots. The Vanderbilt CWU 27P is a one-piece garment made from polyamide cloth, a high temperature resistant, inherently flame retardant Nomex® synthetic fabric with no hot melt point or drip characteristics. It is lightweight and has a two-way zipper with pull, six primary pockets, an adjustable waist belt with velcro, felled seams, and a bi-swing back. Color: Olive Green Condition: Very good vintage condition with a few areas to note. Small abrasion marks on one leg (pictured) and small hole on the back of the inner thigh leg (pictured) Honestly, I think these just add to the character. A pristine flight suit just looks odd.
