Vintage Adolph Schuman For Lilli Ann Teal UltraSuede Jacket, Size S

UltraSuede! I am smitten with the use of the space age fabric in jackets--the care and upkeep of 100% suede leather can be a nightmare. The color of this jacket is what captured me--true teal, unabashedly, gorgeous teal, with a contrast lining of royal blue. (I apologize for the lighting in the photos with the measuring tape--they make the jacket seem a shade darker. The actual color is in 7 of the 9 photos. Proof that this is a home studio!) I'm calling this a size S--you can see the measurements in the photos--from pit to pit, 18.5 inches, from shoulder to shoulder is 17 inches, the sleeve 23.5, and the length 25. The jacket is missing the size tag, and the tailoring makes the measurements matter, especially when the jacket is buttoned. (With those GORGEOUS lavender pearlescent buttons!) The shoulders are lightly padded, the lining immaculate. And proof that history is everything--Darling Adolph Schuman named his collection of highly coveted coats and suits after his wife, Lilli Ann. In 1933!
