RARE Vintage Accessocraft NYC Gold-Toned Roaring Duel Lion Heads Chunky Chain Belt about 33" total in length. This high-end, shiny costume jewelry style belt is gorgeous and so unique! With double and triple strands, 1 5" lion heads and an easy clasp. See photos for details! Accessocraft was founded by Edgar Rodelheimer and Theodore Steinman in the early 1930s. The brand operated out of New York, producing high-end costume jewelry in cutting-edge designs. In the mid 20th century, Accessocraft also created jewelry, accessories, and vanity items in acrylic, under the name “Feathagold”. Accessocraft exploded in popularity in the post-war era, cocktail party era - they create pieces that were bolder and brighter than many other costume jewelry manufacturers, using fine materials such as enamel, Czech glass, filigree, and fine imitation pearls. Because of their reputation for excellence, designers, including Anne Klein, began worked with Accessocraft.
