A fine piece for the collector of Azzedine Alaia design from his Fall/Winter 1987 Collection. Nicknamed the “King of Cling,” Alaïa is a legend in the fashion industry. Known for his form-flattering designs, it’s said that models would refuse their booking fees, and instead asked to be paid in the clothes on their backs. Alaia’s top models included Naomi Campbell, Farida Khelfa, Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen, Elaine Irwin, Veronica Webb, Michaela Bercu, Emma Wiklund, Vanessa Duve, Beverly Peele, Gail Elliott, and Christine Bergström.
