Vintage 80s embroidered satin suit by Dorothy Schoelen

A fabulous vintage find with an ultra femme fatale vibe. Both pieces show true artistry. the jacket is cut like an old school cutaway men's jacket with longer back than front and swoopy sides. Silver satin lined in cream with shoulder pads and lovely pink and green floral embroidery- this would be darling over jeans as a separate. The skirt is somewhere between a pencil and a tulip skirt, slim with body flattering seaming and pleats. All in excellent vintage condition- one of the hooks on the hook and eye fastening is stretched but functional and there are a couple of 'dents' in the satin. No stains or holes. Vintage size 12- comparable to a modern 8.
