Vintage 80s elephant 4 strand bone bead necklace

I am told these are bone beads but I am not an expert in this type of jewelry. They are a very heavy weight and do not look to be machine made as there are significant variations in the beads. Silver tone findings and silver tone beads with no markings. A couple of beads have significantly worn down on one side. See last photo. The smallest strand hangs right at 9” while the longest bead strand is at 15”. Beautiful ivory color. W14
