Vintage 80s Short Sleeve Knit sweater top

This is a cute tan / beige? short sleeve sweater from the 80s. I am not sure of the material since I do not see a tag which lists it. There is a tag on the inside that has a 6 on it which I assume is the size. Mademoiselle Knitwear tag says made in USA. It was really hard for me to get the correct color in a photo. The color looks like a light tan to me. Measurements while sweater is laying flat: Length measured from top of shoulder near neck: 20.5" Chest : 19.5" Waist: 15" unstretched
